I called and he took me in right away. I came in for tooth pain and he was able to help me resolve my issues. He is very nice answers all questions and he does not pressure you. I was so relieved to find Dr. Edward Shluper’s office open on Sunday for emergency appts. He not only fixed my veneer right away, but also addressed a root canal I had been putting off for over a year. With my busy schedule, I could never find a dentist available after 6 PM—but Dr. Shluper went above and beyond, staying late every single visit (even though I had a 45-minute drive) to make sure I got the care I needed. Thanks to him, I now have a root canal completed and two new crowns. I’m so grateful for his professionalism, flexibility, and genuine care for helping people!Posted on Google

I was having a lot of pain and he saw me on Sunday which I couldn’t find any other Doctor who can see me that day. Brielle M21 July 2023TLTR: I had an emergency and Dr Shluper was my hero! I had an emergency where my crown protecting a healthy root fell out the night before a holiday weekend. I tried calling my regular dental office multiple times the next day (Saturday), but because of the holiday they weren't there. Panicking, I googled emergency dentists near me. I was directed to Dr Shluper's office and was given an appointment the next day (Sunday). I was so relieved to be getting help, but also nervous to go to a new place. I got to the office and it was so welcoming! It melted my anxiety to see the cute office and to be greeted by the Dr so quickly. He was just finishing with another patient, whom I could tell was really happy with his service. It was wonderful seeing how experienced and professional Dr Shluper was. I could tell the second I sat in that chair that I was in good hands. He was so deft in his work and attentive to my needs and concerns. He even found the starts to another tooth problem and offered to fit me in that week to get it fixed. I'm unfortunately horrible with change, so I will be going back to my usual dentist, but Dr Shluper was my hero that day. Not only do I trust him with myself, but I recommend all my friends, family and coworkers to him! He takes his time, is patient AND explains the work needed to be done. He’s very understanding with scheduling and will do everything possible to help his patients. After years of looking for a dentist I wanted to go back to, I couldn’t thank him enough for being the best dentist I have seen! He gave me my options and the best thing that worked out was a root canal to save my tooth. in my past experiences root canals have been nightmares but this one was actually amazing. We are from Kansas City and were in Glen Ridge, NJ visiting our daughter's family over the weekend before flying to Athens on Monday. I was in excruciating pain with a lower molar and Dr. Shluper did an emergency root canal on me on Sunday evening!! There is no way I could have left on that plane Monday. Dr. Shluper was highly recommended by a very good friend of mine. So several years ago I decided to follow their advice. From day one, Dr Shluper has been nothing short of Professional, Honest, Friendly, compromising, accountable, accommodating and passionate! Besides the basic cleaning and exams, I have had Dr Shluper guide and tend to my teeth to near perfection! Dr Shluper recommended MTM a generic, affordable solution to Invisalign. He has worked with me on payments and insurance for I do not have the best of coverage. I have recently had my teeth whitened and I could not be happier with the results! A pure example of Dr Shluper's dedication to his patients! I didnt believe at any point of my life that I would look forward to Dentist visits, but Dr Shluper has led me to trust wholeheartedly in him and his staff completely! He is aces in my book and anyone who is afraid of the dentist should let him change that in one visit. My last dentist 4 years ago just took my money and then let me suffer through two gruesome abscesses. I swore I would rather hide my teeth then go to a dentist. Wearing a mask during this pandemic actually was helping me deal with talking to people while hiding my teeth. Reluctantly I made an appointment with dr shluper but after just one visit I am smiling all over the place. I can’t wait to throw these masks away. I drove two hours to see him but it was worth every mile to regain the confidence he gave me. I will continue to drive the distance to see dr shluper and know he is worth the trip. Michele Rose16 December 2020Dr. Shluper is wonderful. He doesn’t judge you coming in and just lays out what he needs to do. He accommodates coming in at odd day/times when necessary. His office is new and clean and right off Rte. 46 so he is conveniently located. He is considerate and nice for us people who are scaredy-cats and don’t like pain at all! Not pushy with doing more and more work right away. His front-office person “Shondidi(?)” is a pleasure to work with. A nice change from most doctors’ offices. My tooth was killing me and had to be removed thank god Dr Shluper was gentle with removing it it didn’t hurt as bad as I thought it would , and his General Manager Chandini is a sweetheart. She worked with me on the payment portion because they were very compassionate about me not having dental insurance and she also went above and beyond and referred me to different dental plans that could help me in my situation. Admittedly, I was looking forward to it because I enjoy having my teeth cleaned and it was time for my 6 month cleaning. Katherine Michelle2 December 2019Best dentist I've ever had. I tell everyone I know to go to him. Very thorough and always available for a dental emergency. I used to be terrified of the dentist, so after 4 years of not seeing anyone I needed a route canal a couple years ago. I found Dr. Schluper online because I needed an appointment with someone STAT and he had good reviews. But I was still terrified because I heard route canals were awful. But mine was super easy! It went incredibly smoothly, and I didn't have any pain. When I sat down at my first appointment I was really really scared because of a prior experience with another dentist. Dr. Schluper saw I was freaking out and he just helped me relax and gave me some time to chill. He asked me every ten minutes if I was ok. Havent had a problem with that tooth since. I trust them so much I actually go for cleanings. The dental hygienist was great too. Really good practice. The receptionist is also awesome. She sends frequent reminders about appointment times and always get back to you quickly. Super helpful over the phone and they run their office very smoothly. Seriously, I recommend this dentist to everyone - including my entire bridal party and my in-laws.Posted on Google

jack8 April 2019I had dental emergency on my way home from work the other day and needed help fast.My current dentist is a hour away whom I have been with for years .I googled nearby and found Edward Shlupers number.Again it was 4:45 pm Friday.Edward not only returned my call but told me he would return to his office to see what he could do for me .He was curtious and greeted me with a smile.. I cannot say enough because I did not have the right insurance nor any records or exrays.He took care of me without hesitation and gave me a very fair price .My wife and I will be using Edward going forward and would highly recommend him to anyone.Posted on Google
